When I try and replicate, I get an error: ‘The remote server is not a known TCP/IP host’.
Check your network connection, you need to be connected to the internet.
Unable to send a claim
  • Make sure you have internet Access (see if you can access www.google.co.za).
  • Use the visit status button to submit and replicate your system when you are done.
  • Disable your anti-virus for submission as it might be blocking submission.
I cannot replicate, what must I do?
  • Check if you have internet (go to www.google.com)
  • Check signal on Modem or Router.
  • Make sure that all items are ticked on the replication page.
When trying to open eMD, I get an error: ‘an error was encountered while opening a window’
Restart your computer, there might be multiple processes running.
When typing in my eMD password, I get an error: ‘Wrong Password’

Check if your Caps Lock is on, passwords are case sensitive.

I cannot login to my Consults System?
  • Make sure Num Lock is off on keyboard.
  • Make sure Caps Lock is off.
  • Check the spelling of your password.
I am running an eMD Server, but I get an error: ‘server is not responding’ when trying to open eMD client.

Double click the eMD Server icon on the computer hosting your eMD Server. It might not be running due to computer restarting or shutting down. You should see a black window with white text (Displaying your eMD Server name at the top).

I am in a view inside the eMD system but it’s not reflecting the latest entries.

Push F9 on your keyboard, it will refresh the view that you are currently in.
